PHOTOS: Train Hits Passenger Bus Near Nairobi Resulting in 6 Casualties

Train accidents are happening at quite a fast and frequent pace.

Just a couple of weeks after a train went off on its own sending police on a wild chase, a tragic accident has seen another hit a bus causing serious injuries. The bus was hit as it tried to cross the railway crossing while the train approached.

The Kiambu Fire brigade along with the Red Cross team arrived at the scene to help with the rescue effort. The accident happened at the Ruiru railway crossing in Kiambu and saw 6 passengers injured while the train driver took off.

This accident is reminiscent of the tragic one which saw a train ram into an Ummoinner Sacco matatu resulting in tragic fatalities.
