Daily Nation says the legislator reported his wife Ann to Langata police station after she beat him silly. Weta suffered multiple injuries; he sustained injuries on his head, left hand, left leg and was reportedly treated at Karen hospital.

Weta’s wife also reported her husband to the police for assaulting her. The genesis of their brawl is mistrust. Daily nation says Wetangula was accused by his wife of infidelity.
