A Noble Woman Who Can Find? See What Gloria Muliro Has Been Up To For Her Family (Photos)
If ever there is one chapter any man would easily use to describe the woman they want and women looking to know what wife material is, then Proverbs Chapter 31 is the verse.
Of its many exhortations, this part is one of the most significant ones…
She gets up while it is still night; she provides food for her family and portions for her female servants.
She considers a field and buys it; out of her earnings she plants a vineyard.She sets about her work vigorously;
Well, one of the respected voices in the gospel industry, the successful songstress Gloria Muliro seems to embody the working aspect of it. At a time when many would travel to shags only for voter registration, she has been attending to her land and the harvesting tasks leaving nothing to chance nor feeling top proud to dig in the hard work herself.
Here are photos and her narration of the shamba experience. She is quite a narrator too.
Today was a very busy day for #GloriaMuliro. My day started at around 4:30 Am, Waking up for fitness, I had a cup of Tea around 6:00 am and then set out for the farm accompanied by my friend Shinel Wanja. It was a chilly morning, Birds chirping from rafters to tree tops of the nearby bush. The farm is big covered by brownish half baked maize leaves. I armed myself with several sacks ready to start picking maize cobs from the stems.
With my friend we feared approaching these bushes full of crackling maize leaves. You very well know how the leaves at times reacts to the soft skin of town dwellers. However this is a job I had to do. First slow and careful but after few steps my sister gave me hope and within several hours, we had managed a heap of maize. We took a lunch break of around an hour (beef stew and Rice ) proceeded by a Mug of cold water as the sun was so unfriendly. 30 Minutes later, we were back to business within three more hours we were done.We then collected what we had gathered and carried the heavy sacks on our backs where we were helped by other people -who also were part of the plan to the storage area.
I know you understand why I have to take that #Ingoho and #Ugali for dinner.
