American Singer Bilal Set For the Next ‘Lounge Unplugged’

The date for next edition of Capital FM’s ‘The Lounge Unplugged’ has just been announced with American jazz/alternative hip hop singer Bilal (full name Bilal Sayeed Oliver) set to soothe Nairobi on June 16th at the Carnivore Gardens.

Bilal is famous for his phenomenal live performances and more so his hit single ‘Soul Sista’. Having done a host of collaborations with other great international artistes including Jermaine Dupri, John Legend, Jay Z, Beyonce and Eryka Bado, Bilal is a highly saught after performer and is set to be backed up by a LIVE band.

Other musicians set to warm up the stage include Ugandan jazz artist Maurice Kirya and Penya Africa’s sultry fusion singer, Stan.

Virgin Atlantic and Novide are co-sponsoring the event which tickets are going for Kshs.2,500 in advance and Kshs.3,000 at the entrance to the venue. The Lounge Unplugged has had other artists such as Vivian Green and Anthony David perform to a positively responsive crowd.
