Photo Gallery: Wanadamu Celebrates First Anniversary

On Wednesday evening, the Wanadamu Initiative was celebrating its 1st year anniversary at the Michael Joseph Center on Waiyaki Way.

In a nutshell, Wanadamu seeks to register Kenyans across the country to sign up as blood donors so that if  ever the need arose for a blood transfusion, Wanadamu can look up the relevant blood donor on its registry and get the donors to where they are needed.

At the celebration, a number of people the initiative had benefitted were present, giving their testimonials and the organizers went ahead to facilitate a question and answer session. Dr. Dan Gikonyo, who was the Guest Speaker, enlighted the attendants on the intricacies of blood donation and its importance.

The MC on the night was Hot 96 radio personality Cindy Ogana as Dan Chizi Aceda and his band provided the entertainment for the evening, and what an amazing one it was.
