American Lady Who Hates President Obama Set To Meet Her Kenyan Father Who Writes For Daily Nation For The First Time In 54 Years (Photos)
Unlike her father who has love for US head of state, Juliette has no fear disclosing her loathe for President Barack Obama. But different political views won’t stop dad and daughter from meeting for the first time in 54 years.
Veteran Daily Nation Columnist, Philip Ochieng aka The Fifth Columnist, is set to meet the daughter he sired with an American woman in 1961.
A die hard Republican, Juliette Akinyi Ochieng is set to jet in from Los Angeles, California, to meet her Kenyan father who left her while she was still a toddler.
The Daily Nation columnist divorced his American wife and returned home to be writing one of the most jargon-laden pieces on Kenya’s leading newspaper dissecting grammar issues and Nilotic history.
Juliette started searching for her father at the age of 35 and discovered he was a lead columnist for Daily Nation.
She got in touch with him but communications came to a halt during President Obama’s regime due to political differences with her dad.
While The Fifth Columnist has nothing but love for President Obama, his daughter who’s a Republican doesn’t see anything to celebrate about the first black President of US.
The two rival factions put their differences aside and finally decided to meet each other face to face for the first time in 54 years.
Juliette is expected to travel to her father’s ancestral land to meet relatives for the one week she would be in Kenya.
