President Uhuru’s Message That Melted The Hearts Of Team Mafisi
Finally, the commander in chief spoke something that attracted the attention of the thirst bandwagon!
Last Saturday, Baba Ngina made his way to Brookehaven Gardens in Karen to witness a couple exchange vows.
What impressed the President was the fact that the lovebirds were from different ethnic backgrounds. The president was suddenly struck by an ingenious idea, he finally found a ‘cure’ to the chronic disease that has been crippling Kenya, tribalism.
Uhuru thinks interethnic marriages is the solution to ending tribalism in Kenya.
“I have this morning joined the families of Chemeli Chumo and Kevin Oduor to witness their wedding ceremony which took place at Brookehaven Gardens, Karen. It is always a joyful occasion when we see our children bring us together. It is better to be united as a nation than be divided on ethnic lines. I urge all Kenyans to emulate the young couple who have made a choice to break down the barriers of ethnicity through intermarriage. What our country needs is unity, which will help in building a strong nation for all of us to live in and enjoy peace. I wish them joy peace and understanding in their marriage and God’s blessings for abundance and long life.” Wrote President Uhuru.
Team Mafisi were impressed that the President addressed the issue of marriage. But they want the president to do more.
Hyenas have once again issued a plea to the president to fly in Eritrean babes so that he can not only end tribalism but also narrow the bridge between Kenya and Eritrea.
