GHAFLA EXPOSE: The People Newspaper Still Aren’t Paying Their Correspondents (PART 1)

This is what I have received from an anonymous source from within the bowels of The People. Enjoy the expose:

 

Following the move to their new premises at DSM Building from Longonot Place, The people daily had gone through a transformation that was not imagined two years ago.
Still the correspondents are crying for their wages. they have a new premises but no pay to show for the pride
There have been massive investments and acquisition of new talent, whivh includes the return of Revise Editor Mukalo Kwayera, one of the founding stars of the daily and fomrerly in the People weekly.
At the same time, there has been movements across the board and it is rumoured that Derek Otieno who also rejoined after a long study leave in the UK has been moved from the Sports Desk to the news desk.
The paper has also acquired a brilliant sub-editor Mulei from the East African Standard as the newspaper prepares for the relaunch that is due any time soon…
