Is Marya a Hopeless Romantic if This Photo is Anything to Go By?

After breaking up with fellow stable-mate, Mustapha, Ogopa’s gorgeous singer Marya’s love life seemed to be shambles. However, all was not lost as the “Sishiki Simu” hit-maker appears to have fallen in love. Marya has been dropping hints of new love.

It all started when she posted a photo of atangible and downright shiny engagement ring with reports indicating that she had been proposed to. She also got her first tattoo, an old school mic with red roses. That was last week.

Yesterday, the singer got yet another tat at Lowless Tattoos. This time she opted for a blue rose tattoo.

From my knowledge of tats, every tat is symbolic and so Marya seems to be sending mixed signals. For the first tat (red roses) it signifies that she is in true love. Red roses historically have been considered the symbol of true love or passionate love especially when presented as a single stem, but they can also represent sacrifice or memorial.

For the second one, a blue rose tattoo represents fascination, fantasy, impossibility (largely because the blue rose does not really exist – all “blue” roses are really lavender or white roses that have been dyed).

What message is Marya sending? Is she a hopeless romantic if her latest tat is anything to go by?
