Daddy Owen has made a return with a brand new track that is set to make its home on the charts, shortly after releasing “Utamu Wa Maisha” featuring Juliani.

With his latest release, Kazi Ya Msalaba, Daddy Owen makes a proclamation. “A lot of times many people ask you ‘Unafanya kazi gani?’. While many people will quote their professions, for Daddy Owen it’s something totally different.” He says if the question is posed, his answer would be, “Kazi Ya Msalaba.”

The first ever gospel winner of an MTV MAMA Award says he’s fully focusing on spreading the word of God. Basically, continuing Jesus’ work on earth that almost ended on the cross. And he admits that the
work is hard. “Salvation is not a walk in the park as there are a lot of temptations especially for a Gospel artiste.”

In Kazi Ya Msalaba, the Kapungala star features the new kid on the block, expected to be the next big thing in gospel, Danny Gift.
