TV Personality Jeff Koinange Submerged in Ruto’s ICC Case
Tuesday, the trial of Kenya’s Deputy President, William Ruto, kicked off at Hague-based court, ICC with his defence team tabling its evidence. Part of the evidence interestingly relied on Jeff Koinange’s former TV show on K24, The Bench.
Ruto’s lawyer, Karim Khan heavily relied on a recording of the show in which Jeff interviewed the DP (then Eldoret North MP) to prove that his client is innocent.
The TV personality now with Arise TV could not hide his excitement after the clip formed basis of the DP’s defence as one of his followers joked that he should be made an ‘amicus curiae’ of ICC as he retweeted tweets about his former show on Twitter.
