Tens of Kenchic Inns that have dotted streets in the CBD and residential areas will be no more as from March 31st!

Kenchic Inns boast of the tastiest kuku pono in Nairobi. But the popular eateries are closing business from next month. But why?

The poultry company behind Kenchic has terminated franchise agreements with about 30 fast food restaurants that use its name across Kenya in a bid to protect its brand.

A statement from Kenchic explained the decision saying the company decided to withdraw Kenchic Inn from the market to concentrate on its core business of  processing chicken.

That means all food joints in Kenya that are using Kenchic’s name will have to find an alternative name to use for their joints.

Kenchic says all restaurants using its name will cease using it as from Thursday, March 31st 2016. In simpler term, you will NOT see Kenchic Inns from April henceforth!!
