East Africa’s Biggest Beer Festival Oktoberfest Launches an App

The biggest beer, food and music festival in the region is bringing the experience even closer to you.

Oktoberfest has launched a mobile app which is downloadable for free from Google Play. The app is only 1.3MB so you don’t have to worry about it taking up space on your device. The app is compatible with any phone running Android 2.0 and above.

The app allows you to view the schedule, view artist’s profiles and sponsor profiles. You will also receive messages and notifications to keep you in the loop.

The Big Five Breweries brings Europe’s biggest beer festival to the country over three days of drink, music, food and fun. This year’s event takes place between September 20th and 22nd at the Ngong’ Racecourse.

Artistes expected to perform include Wyre, Victoria Kimani, Kidum, Eric Wainina, Sauti Sol, Dennis Gordon and Different Faces among others.
