Catchy Legendary Songstress Mercy Myra At Nite Of A Thousand Laughs
The legendary songstress will be performing alongside some of Africa’s biggest artistes at the upcoming Nite Of A Thousand Laughs event.
Mercy Myra started her music career performing in various including Calabash Band, Destinee and Black Ice before going solo and releasing the highly acclaimed Sitaki in 1998.
She released two albums, Tabasamu and Nyisri Malong’o in the early 2000s, for which she won two Kisima Awards and a KORA Award for. She relocated to the U.S. in the mid-2000s before returning to Kenya this year.
The comedy and music extravaganza, Nite Of A Thousand Laughs, comes to you this Saturday. The NTV-sponsored event will take place on 9th November at the Carnivore Grounds between 7.00 p.m. and 11.00 p.m.
Opa Williams brings Africa’s top entertainers on one stage. Come and experience the laughs and music from Nigeria’s BasketMouth, South Africa’s Nduliso, Uganda’s Pablo and Malawi’s Daliso. Joining the strong African acts will be Kenya’s own Sleepy, Chipukeezy and Ayeiya with music by Dela and DJ Frida besides Mercy Myra.
