PHOTOS: Top Nigerian Comedian Basketmouth Lands In Kenya

Basketmouth has landed in Kenya, ready to rock the stage at Nite Of A Thousand Laughs.

The celebrated Nigerian comedian is in the country for the third edition of the Kenyan version of Opa Williams’ Nite Of A Thousand Laughs.

Last afternoon, Basketmouth and his wife had lunch with members of the media at the Carnivore Restaurant. During his stay he has also done a number of radio and TV interviews including one at Kiss FM with Caroline Mutoko on her Big Breakfast show.

The Big Breakfast co-presenter, Chipukeezy, will also be performing at Nite Of A Thousand Laughs. Also present at Kiss FM were fellow performers Mercy Myra and Sleepy.

Opa Williams’ Nite Of A Thousand Laughs takes place tomorrow, 9th November at the Carnivore Grounds between 7.00 p.m. and 11.00 p.m.

There will be performances by Nigeria’s Basketmouth, South Africa’s Nduliso, Uganda’s Pablo and Malawi’s Daliso, Kenya’s own Sleepy, Chipukeezy and Ayeiya with music by Mercy Myra, Dela and DJ Frida.

Regular tickets will go for Kshs. 2,000 while front row tickets will be Kshs. 5,000 (comes with a drink). Whole tables with drinks and chops will go for Kshs. 105,000. Tickets can be bought at ticketsasa.com and Dormans.
