“Fellow DJs, don’t call yourself a brand if you don’t know the meaning” & More Words of Wisdom From DJ Joe Mfalme

DJ Joe Mfalme is undoubtedly one of the regions most respected DJs. With his status comes the responsibility to lead the way for upcoming DJs.

Last year, during the first ever EA Pioneer DJ Convention, he was one of the highly rated tutors who advised fans, enthusiasts and upcoming DJs on the craft.

One of the things he prominently talked about was about an important aspect in not only DJing, but in entertainment as a whole. Check out points that he brought out below:

“Fellow DJs, don’t call yourself a brand if you don’t know the meaning.”
You should be willing to spend money on marketing and brand building.”
By calling yourself a brand, you have set yourself in a position compared to Safaricom and Coca-Cola.
As a brand, follow what these companies are doing in terms of marketing so as to always be on top of your game.”
Learn from the best to be the best.”
