One Week To Go To The Only Awards Show That Honours Kenya’s Matatus

The second edition of the PSV Motorshow & Nganya Awards is just a week away.

The celebration of Kenya’s vibrant public transport culture takes place this Sunday, 24th November at the KICC Grounds between 10.00 a.m. and 6.00 p.m.

Voting for the awards will exclusively be carried on the Safaricom network, which is also giving voters a chance to win airtime simply for voting. Amount to be won ranges between Kshs. 100 and Kshs. 1,000.

The initiative will work as a motor show, which is a showcase of the different elements of the unique Kenyan Matatu culture, popular among the youth, in a positive way, and the award ceremony that entails the public selecting the best PSVs and personnel.

Voting closes on the 24th, just before the event begins. SMS the code of the category you’re voting for followed by the name of the PSV you’re voting for to 20072. Below are the categories in which fans will vote for winners:
