The government is cracking the whip on ‘rogue’ keyboard ninjas who are deemed as dangerous guns for hire!

The term ‘misuse of licensed telecommunication system’ is slowly becoming a cliché now that all ‘rogue’ bloggers are being charged with that.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations has arrested/summoned 10 top bloggers for misuse of licensed telecommunications gadgets.

Most of the bloggers will have a date with authorities this coming Wednesday. Their arrests and summons has sparked mix reactions with critics arguing that the move is not in line with media freedom in Kenya.

The issue of state security organs being intolerant with voices of the opposition has also emerged since most bloggers arrested/summoned are said to be opposition bloggers.

The 10 keyboard warriors arrested/summoned for misuse of licensed telecommunications gadgets include:
