This Is What Raila Will Do At The Launching Of A Road Named After His Son In Mombasa

At the burial of his first born, Fidel Odinga, Raila received a quite honorable and moving gesture from his friend and ODM deputy leader Ali Hassan Joho.

The Mombasa Governor pledged to honor the memory of Raila’s son by having a road in Mombasa named after him. True to his word, a road in Malindin has been identified and named Fidel Odinga and Raila Odinga is set to officiate the ceremony and the official launch of the road which is in Nyali, the current Nyali Road.

However, this will be a different kind of ceremony from what many are used to whenever the CORD leader has a public platform. There will be no politics at all, just an earnest mood and one agenda of opening the road officially.

This is according to Raila’s spokesman, Dennis Onyango who has even ruled out the possibility of Raila Odinga visiting Malindi to increase the fortune’s of ODM’s MP in the oncoming elections in the region.

Part of the reason is that Raila has to travel from the venue and head back to Kisumu to attend the annual Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Memorial service.
