He’s A Liar! A Desperate Willy Paul Rushes To Release A Song Featuring Bahati’s Voice. And Bahati Didn’t Even Know About It. (Song)

The twosome have been two of the most visible and prolific Gospel artists in Kenya for the last 5 years or so. Willy has been around longer. And then Bahati emerged to totally own the last 3 years in the Gospel Industry,winning Awards left right and centre and winning millions of hearts and receiving innumerable endorsements from a conglomeration of almost all Kenyan Corporate companies.

Willy,on his part,stumbled from disaster to disaster culminating in their much-publicized public feud early 2015 that opened the Pandora’s box of all what was wrong with our pretentious Gospel music industry.

Circa April 2015,Bahti penned a lengthy Facebook post calling out Willy Paul and accusing him of playing dirty,stealing his ideas and songs,working in cohorts with products to frustrate him,rebuffing his attempts to call for a trice and attempting to sabotage his fledging career. The post went viral receiving over 50,000 Facebook Likes,Shares and Comments combined.

Willy Paul absolutely REFUSED to address the Bahati post and actually went underground only to re-emerge months later to try and assuage matters.

And after months of real tension between the two,with Willy Paul endlessly trying to reach out to Bahati,get his attention and get him to love him back again,the fire has been reignited yet again. 

It should be remembered that Bahati had revealed that him and Willy Paul had been working on a song in 2014 that was scheduled for release but was never released.

‘Teddy B was the man producing that song… ‘ Bahati revealed to me in a phone call this morning.

‘But before the song was even finalized and released,Willy Paul started acting all petty. He started bringing up childish issues like whose name would appear first in the song,whose name would the Royalties be registered under,who would make the most from the song,who the song would belong to and so on and so forth… ‘.

Bahati then told me that he feels that the conversation was now getting stupid and that they were doing the song for the sake of the Ministry of the Lord not for their own sakes.

 I didn’t like the talk. It was getting all petty and silly. We started arguing over irrelevant stuff. Ego stuff… Cheap stuff… I gave up. I gave up on the collaboration and quit making the song halfway. ‘ Bahati revealed.

‘I also told Teddy B to totally delete the song since I had lost all interest in it and I wasn’t ready for the kind of fights Willy Paul had with Gloria Muliro over Sitolia‘.

Bahati told me that Teddy B then agreed to delete the song and actually ‘deleted’ it right in front of Bahati.

‘He deleted it. Or so I thought he did. He selected the song,pressed the delete button from his computer right in front of my eyes and I believed the song was gone forever. ‘

Bahati then told Willy Paul that he had opted out of the project and that he wasn’t ready for a contentious collaboration.

But it appears that Willy Paul still wanted the song to get out to the public no matter what.

‘Even after Teddy B LIED to me that he’d deleted the song completely,and wiped it out of his records for good,I was shocked to wake up this morning only to find my WhatsApp filled with people congratulating me for the song I’ve just done with Willy Paul ‘.

Bahati said he thought he was dreaming and almost went crazy.

‘I couldn’t believe it! I then downloaded the song people were sharing with me on WhatsApp and listened… It’s the same song! The same song we recorded in 2014! Teddy B didn’t delete the song. He lied to me. He kept it somewhere,mastered it,assembled my verses together and leaked the song onto the Internet this morning!’ Bahati cried.

Willy Paul and Teddy B,the song’s producer,lied to Bahati that they’d deleted the song and that it would NEVER be released. Bahati’s verses in the song were actually incomplete. It was still a very raw and plain song by the time Bahati asked to be disassociated with it.

‘I said I didn’t want to be part of the collabo. I asked the producer to trash the song. I didn’t want a fight with Willy Paul like the one he had with Gloria Muliro over their collabo. I was trying to avoid a fight and unnecessary drama. I said I’m out. And here we are,in 2016. The song has not just been finished but it has also been mastered,assembled and leaked to the Internet. This is unethical! ‘Bahati lamented.

Yes,3 years after the aborted collabo,Willy Paul and Teddy B have finally released the song. Without Bahati’s knowledge,involvement or blessings.

Willy Paul is now lying to the Public that he has a brand new 2016 collabo with Bahati. And the Public is now going crazy.

‘I want the public to know that Willy Paul is lying. He’s a sleazy,cheeky little liar! His Producer is too. I am in no way involved in that song. I am not a part of it and it should not be treated as a Bahati /Willy Paul collabo. I’ve not talked to Willy Paul for years and I was lied to and fooled. I am outraged. ‘

Well,here is the song. Bahati was actually considering suing the two. But I advised him against it. But the last choice of action remains with him.
