Run Away Killer Who Stabbed A 24-Year-Old Girl In Nyayo Estate And Locked Her Body In The House To Decompose Is Arrested (Photos)

Decomposing body of 24-year-old Charity Wachira was found in a house in Nyayo Estate Embakasi a week after communication between the deceased and her parents broke.

Charity is said to have been killed on the night of December 16 in a house in Nyayo Estate by one Martin Kunguru Opiyo, who went missing from that very day.

The deceased’s body was found by her parents and neighbors after an intensive search; her mobile phone had gone unanswered for close to a week. The body had stab wounds.

Mercy and Kunguru were dating, it’s alleged her boyfriend took her life after they two were embroiled in an argument.

Detectives who had been on the trail of Mr. Kunguru caught up with him in Trans Nzoia County. Police arrested him in Kitale and brought him back to Nairobi where he was interrogated before being presented in court.

Mr. Kunguru appeared in court today and denied the death charge. The court ordered that he undergoes a second mental assessment before he stands trial again.
