As he ponders on the reaction elicited, one Kenyan has decided to take the step and ‘save Kenya’s face after the rather poorly done cover. A fan has decided to pen an apology letter to Adele seeking her understanding and distancing the whole country from Jimmy Gait’s actions.

Commenting on Jimmy Gait’s YouTube account, the user, identified as Simbaress had this succinct letter…

Dear Adele, – On behalf of all Kenyans….all 42 million of us and even the unborn future generations….I sincerely apologize for this atrocity. We collectively express our heartfelt condolences for this sieke (siege) and massacre of your beautiful song. Our embarrassment is forever engraved on the internet.
