Controversial Al Jazeera Exposé ‘Inside Kenya’s Death Squads’ Highly Commended At AIB

December last year, Doha based international broadcaster, Al Jazeera, ruffled the government’s feathers after they ran an investigative piece about Kenya’s killer cops.

The Al Jazeera exposé raised temperatures in the country with the government threatening to ban the broadcaster from operating in Kenya.

The controversial investigative piece was also highly commended at The Association for International Broadcasting (AIB) International Current Affairs Documentary award.

‘Inside Kenya’s Death Squads’ has also been nominated for two international awards; One World and the BAFTAs this year.
