Angry Mob Bays For Boni Khalwale’s Blood After His Prado Hits And Kills A Woman

Angry passersby attempted to torch bullfighter’s SUV after his driver who was allegedly speeding, hit and killed a pedestrian on the spot.

The vibrant Kakamega Senator, Dr. Boni Khalwale, was involved in a road accident along Nakuru-Eldoret highway over the past weekend.

The legislator was travelling for a political rally in Kitale at the time of the incident which happened at Chereber.

Eye witnesses say the Toyota Prado was speeding when the accident occurred. The pedestrian, a woman, died on the spot when Boni’s vehicle hit her.

Fumed locals attempted to torch the politician’s Prado but police intervened quickly to save the situation.

Eldoret Police boss, Nelson Taliti, said the bullfighter had already recorded a statement at Tarakwa Police Station in Burnt Forest. His vehicle is also being held at the station.

Boni sent a message of condolence to the family of the deceased.

“My deepest condolences to the family of the pedestrian fatally hit by my car. My driver is writing a statement at the Police station.”
