Fashion Critics ,Please Sit Down. Octopizzo’s Shoe Game Is Always On Point.

A few days ago I had a very interesting discussion with hip-hop dons at the office who felt that the sneakers Octopizzo rocked on the trend and later in his LPDC album were a little  juvenile. Amevaaa viatu za watoto. 

 We went back and forth on his choice of shoes, I was  clearly out numbered especially when they said that those sneakers used to exist back in the 90’s and were every kid’s dream shoes. What with the strutting in the cover of the night with streaks of red lighting up from your shoes? 

Well clearly , these guys haven’t heard of the Jordans light soles or the glow-in-the-dark’s. They are commonly referred to as sole light up and have been a fad especially during the last quarter of 2014 and have carried on into 2015. Octopizzo, who I consider uber-fashionable has been one of the first Kenyan celebrities to rock them in Kenya and aren’t they a fad worth copying?

You may not agree with Octopizzo’s American flag out fit or his multi-colored shirts, but his shoe game is unrivaled. Seriously.

The good thing is that the shoes come in varied makes for both women and men, so your girl will have an excuse of rocking them to a party as well. It is important to note that there is a difference between the glow in the dark shoes and those that actually sport led’s. 

But, the bottom line is that they are cool fad for every fashion-party loving person out there, perfect for jeans, sweat pants or those cuffed chinos.
