Lupita Nyongo’s Family Fly To New York To Watch The Hollywood Star In A Play By Walking Dead’s Badass Lady (Photos)

Kisumu Senator, Anyang Nyong’o, his wife Dorothy Nyong’o, their son, Peter Nyong’o and legendry American singer, Stevie Wonder were all present to watch Lupita in a new play that is taking the world by storm.

Are you a fan of Walking Dead Series? (I know Julie Gichuru is) Well if you are, then you know Danai Gurira better known as Katana; the tough intimidating lady with dreads who derives pleasure from chopping off the heads of zombies. Yes that lady. (Better start watching the series because it’s on another level)

Katana is the brain behind a play dubbed ‘Eclipsed’ which is based on the lives of five women in war-torn Liberia. The play is currently running off-Broadway theatre in New York.

Our very own Lupita Nyong’o is part of the cast for the play. The actress’ family and friends flew to America to watch the Hollywood star in her new role.
