Touching Documentary on the Murdered Ugandan Homosexual to be Screened Today
The second edition of the Human Right Watch Film Festival ends today with a screening of Call Me Kuchu.
The annual festival has been showing since 19th November and has seen the screening of Special Flight, Words of Witness, The Island President and Love Crimes of Kabul followed by panel discussions.
Today’s panel discussion will be by Pepe Julian Onziema (Sexual Minorities Uganda), Jackson Otieno (Gay & Lesbi*n Council of Kenya), John Wambere (Spectrum Uganda Initiatives) and Jane Wothaya (Gay Kenya Trust).
The Katherine Fairfax Wright and Malika Zouhali-Worrall-directed documentary follows the lives of Ugandan homosexuals and problems they have to face from the government and society. Check out the trailer below.
