IMAX: Why One of the Year’s Most Anticipated Films of the Year Will Not Screen in Kenya as Early as Expected
Life Of Pi is one of the most anticipated film of the year. And Kenyans were meant to get a rare early release of Ang Lee latest feature, an adaptation of the Yann Martel novel.
But as IMAX has announced, looks like the film will not be delivered in the country on time and will not be available until at least Tuesday next week.
“We have a very sad news for you. Life of Pi movie repeats the destiny of Pi and still on its way to Nairobi. We will announce as fast as we get any confirmation from distributors on time of arrival.”
The cinema has opted to continue screening Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 2 and Skyfall at the following times:
Skyfall – 12:20 p.m., 3:10 p.m., 6:00 p.m.
Twilight – 8:50 p.m., 11:00 p.m.
Those who had already bought tickets for Life Of Pi, which is tipped as one of the films that might win Best Picture at next year’s Academy Awards will be refunded.
