Fake Dr. Mugo Wa Wairimu Freed By The Court

This could be sad news in the ears of the victims the quack doctor raped but all is not lost. Mugo Wa Wairimu could be out of police custody but he isn’t out of the frying pan yet.

Milimani court has denied the prosecution the opportunity to return Mugo Wa Wairimu where he rightfully belongs, in police custody.

Nairobi Chief Magistrate, Daniel Ogembo, released Mugo on a Kes 5 million bond with a surety of a similar amount.

The rapist doctor was further slapped with a Kes 1 million cash bail by the court. He was also instructed to surrender his passport and warned NEVER to interfere with witnesses. The court promised to cancel his bond if he defies the order.

The prosecution fought to have Mugo restrained in jail till his case was determined but the judge didn’t find the quack a threat to society.

Mugo was charged with one count of rape, unprofessionally sedating his patients and 10 counts of operating unregistered clinics.
