Plucky Activist Jumps Down President Uhuru’s Throat Again!
It was only two weeks ago that Right Activist Boniface Mwangi launched a tirade against the commander in chief.
The Pawa 254 founder blasted President Uhuru for being incapacitated by alcohol addiction to carry out his constitutional duties.
Boniface has once again unleashed a salvo against the head of state. This time round he focused his attack on Uhuru’s breach of the constitution.
The activist condemns the President for defying courts order instructing the government to pay teacher their 50-60% pay rise.
“The teachers have downed their tools yet again. They have gone to court and the court has ruled that the government should pay the teachers what is owed to them. But the president, Uhuru Kenyatta, and his government have defied the court and said that the government cannot afford to pay the teachers. Never mind that members of parliament and the ruling class award themselves hefty salaries on a whim and somehow, the government always finds a budget for this.” Boniface complained.
He says the President’s subversion of court ruling was the beginning of anarchy because it would also encourage citizens to defy court rulings.
“By defying a court order, the president is subverting the constitution and the rule of law. What he, the President Uhuru, is in fact saying is, the constitution can be defied; you can break the law.”
Boniface reminded the president he swore to preserve, protect and defend the constitution when he was sworn in so he ought to abide by court ruling.
