GHAFLA EXCLUSIVE: Is Ian Mugoya Gay? (VIDEO)

The first time I ever met Ian Mugoya, I have to admit that I though he would be stuck up. I went into that situation with my pet prejudices and when he smiled and said “Word up G?” I was taken aback. Baba Ghafla confused my reaction for my being starstruck. I was just confounded at how humble he actually is. Then the first time we really got to hang out was in Mombasa at Whitesands Hotel where we sat down to lunch. What my conversation uncovered about him is the fact that he is passionate about doing something for society. He wants to leave a positive mark on the Kenyan society at large.

I invited him to Ghafla for an interview and my colleague and friend Vincent Omondi beat me to the punch and set up the meeting. And When Ian came through, he did so in timely fashion. And so it was that he sat down for a Gh! interview and answered a question regarding his sexuality and this picture:
