List of Journalists Fired From Kiss TV

In just under one week, two of the country’s leading media houses, K24 and Kiss TV have laid off at least 110 employees all at once which begs the question; just when did the rain start beating Kenyan media houses?

This afternoon, Ghafla! brought you to speed with news that Kiss TV has sacked all its employees and consequently shut down. This comes after a leaked report revealed that the station was experiencing a KSh10 million a month since March something that threatened its very existence.

The ax affected some of the leading journalists in the country some of whom have made a name for themselves from their award winning stories.Speaking to Ghafla!, one of the sacked employees revealed that most of them have already received offers from other media houses.

This move has spread panic among scribes who are unsure of their jobs’ future.
