Consumer Federation Of Kenya Lists Ghafla!Kenya As The Fourth Largest Local Website!

It would seem Government agencies have begun to sit up and take note of the internet as a medium of communication and information dissemination and if the move by the Consumer Federation of Kenya to list all the top 100 websites in the country is anything to go by, the government isn’t taking the internet for granted anymore.

But as always with government agencies, they are a tad bit late with disseminating this information and have gotten Ghafla!Kenya’s rank wrong… The information used in this report is about a month or two behind. But before I explain why, allow me to share with you the websites they have listed as the top 100 locally created sites:

“Globally, Standard has now beaten Nation at position 5,103 to 5,473 respectively. Nation beats Standard on the sites linking in at 4,256 to 2,427. Standard is less slow to open by 3.34 seconds while Nation delays by 8.09 seconds.

<THE HIGHLIGHTED WEBSITES ARE THE LOCALLY CREATED WEBSITES>

However, according to alexa.com, Ghafla!Kenya is now number 15! But we couldn’t have made it so high up this ranking list without you our avid readers. And with that I would like to say: “Asante sana. Tunawashukuru mno na tunawapenda nyote!”
