Renowned Controversial ‘Sunday Nation’ Columnist Decamps To Its Rival

Well-known but controversial (in equal measure) columnist, Prof. Makau Mutua has moved his talent to the Standard newspaper.

The columnist broke out the news on Wednesday on Twitter and invited his readers to shift with him to ‘Sunday Standard’.

“I have decided to take my talents to the Standard on Sunday. Thanks to colleagues at Sunday Nation and NMG for a great seven years,” tweeted the professor.

Prof. Mutua has been and still is a sharp critic of the Jubilee Government, something he lucidly articulates in his columns on the Sunday paper.

The 55 year old professor is also the Dean of the University at Buffalo Law School, where he is also a SUNY (The State University of New York) Distinguished Professor and the Floyd H. & Hilda L. Hurst Faculty Scholar.
