Citizen TV Reporters Miss Death By A Whisker as Police Circulate their Vehicle on Suspicion on Ferrying Explosives (Video)

Late last week, Citizen TV reporters led by Senior Political Affairs reporter, Francis Gachuri, cheated death after the police erroneously circulated number plates of the vehicle they were ferrying them from a crime scene in suspicion that it was carrying explosives.

The police wrongly claimed the vehicle was carrying explosives and four dangerous occupants and the allegations widely circulated among police officers and a local daily. The public was warned against the vehicle, whose registration is KBB 371A and which belongs to Royal Media Services.

Narrating the incident, Gachuri said it’s only after he checked Twitter that he came to learn of this. This shocked and got him worried because anything could have happened to them while out on the assignment since some trigger-happy law enforcers would have sprayed the vehicle with bullets.

Here’s Gachuri and Faiza Maganga’s narrating the story;
