When John Allan-Namu and Mohammed Ali set out to investigate something, one thing we can all be sure about is that they will do a thorough do of it. That is their brand. That is their reputation. They leave no stones unturned and leave no questions un-asked.

That is why I am excited that they will be doing an undercover investigation of what transpired in the run-up to and during and indeed, the aftermath of the terrorist attack on one of Kenya’s biggest shopping complexes; Westgate.

I would like t see more than the media fed us and I would want to hear the security chiefs being asked the difficult questions: Why didn’t they act on the information they had about the planned attacks?
