The Fight For Amani! The Crazy Love Live Of Ugandan Star Eddy Kenzo And Why Other Ugandan Male Celebrities All Love And Want Amani

Ugandan blogs are on overdrive, furiously reporting on the rather unusual relationship between Kenyan Singer Amani and Ugandan superstar Eddy Kenzo. There had always been Street talk on the nature of Kenzo’s relationship with Amani, and whether it was platonic or romantic, and those rumors were fuelled even further by some recent concert developments.

Eddy Kenzo,an International Award-winning musician and feisty East African celebrity, has never hidden his penchant for controversy, sleaze and love for publicity… Whatever form of it. His also infamously remembered for the temperamental manner in which he once chose to solve a verbal spat with a Ugandan tabloid journalist; jumping over the conference table, sweeping aside the assembled mics and, flying to the ground, proceeded to rain hard blows and shockingly batter a journalist in full view of cameras.

That single incident should have killed Kenzo. And buried his budding music career, buoyed by the smash hit Sitya Loss, but somehow, he survived the negative publicity and emerged even stronger… Gaining more fans and publicity across Uganda and gaining more notoriety still.

But Kenzo is not new to controversy… Throughout his career, Kenzo has courted controversy. And fed it and nurtured it… Feeding off its fruits to further advance his career. Around July 2014,Ugandan tabloids exploded with news that Kenzo had bought a home for himself and his baby mama and fellow singer Rema Namakula.

But the news didn’t go down well with his former flame, Tracy Nabatanzi who also had his child. Tracy demanded to have a house bought-or constructed-for her too but Kenzo had already had his time with Tracy and would hear none of that.

The rivalry between these two baby mamas escalated, with Tracy constantly haunting Remy and Kenzo totally ignoring Tracy and channeling all his energies towards his new flame Remy. At one time, it was even reported, Rema chased this girl Tracy from Kenzo’s home in Buziga.

Kenzo’s rocky relationship with both women culminated in his ultimate break-up with Rema and Rema even ended up with another UG singer the flashy Mathias Walukaga.

It was then reported that Walukaga bought her (Rema) sleek phones, a nice Rav-4 car and a few other things and she left Kenzo. Kenzo then begged her to come for his concert at Kati kati since fans wanted to see her, but she refused. He even insisted and begged her to come for his Masaka and Mbarara concerts, but she still refused. And that’s when Kenzo started publicly demanding that Rema return his property.

And around September 2014,Kenzo staged his mega Sitya Loss Nice and Lovely concert, Rema refused to attend and decided to spend the day hanging out with Walukaga. But a month before that, Kenzo had posted a photo on social media of himself and Rema going through his mobile phone. Kenzo then told his fans that he and Rema were going through his whatsaap messages.

And when contacted by bloggers to explain the weird photo further,Kenzo said, “I trust Rema so much. Not only because I love her and that she has my baby but because she is a humble woman who loves me back and would never judge or betray me. She is the only person I trust in the world’

But recently,he started being Sen all over the place with singer Amani who also had just worked on a hit song with Ugandan duo Radio and Weasel. Still, after that song dropped, blogs and tabloids were filled with stories of Amani dating either of the two bandmates. Amani denied all reports linking her to a relationship with either of the two but still, the rumors abounded.

And after the stories of Amani getting cosy with either Radio or Weasel died down, Kenzo came into the picture and was numerously seen in Kampala and other locations in Uganda in the company of Kenzo.

All the talk culminated with Kenzo inviting Amani to his mega concert and also dedicating a special slot for her on stage from where he warmly introduced her to the jubilant crowd.

And just days before that,Rema Namakula had bashed rumours that Kenzo had left his home in Buziga to join her at her home along Semawatta Road in Ntinda.

And now, even while they’re still entangled in a bitter love battle, with Tracy in the picture,it now emerges that Rema is now happy with Kenzo’s recent flirtations with the secretive Amani.

Living life as a recluse, and rarely in the news,Amani is now finding herself back in the limelight. Not for her new music or a Kenyan man she’s seeing, but for yet another Ugandan scandal.

The genesis of Amani’s rather gossipy relationship with the men of Uganda’s Showbiz industry is not known… Why they love her is not clear either. It could be her love for secrecy,laid-back lady-like attitude, star power as one of Kenya’s premier celebrities or still, here beauty, rich voice, gorgeous smile and legendary class.

‘After having tumultuous relationships with crazy Ugandan women… Both of whom are unsuccessful singers and women who only appear to love him for his popularity and his deep pockets, swindling him and breaking his heart at will,Kenzo must be tired of all the drama and Madness and is looking for a quieter life with a less dramatic and crazy woman… And that’s where Amani, who is also a successful musician in her own right, comes in, ‘ said a source.

‘Or still,it could be Kenzo’s attempt to further break into the Kenyan market and the larger East African fan base by pulling a Diamond, that is, picking a popular woman from across the borders and not just loving her but also using her for his own advantage’.

We’ve walked into yet another rumor involving Amani and the drama boys in Kampala. But Amani must be careful in her dealings with the controversial Eddy Kenzo. His nasty public fights with Rema and the mother of his daughter Tracy may be too much for her to bear. Or waddle through.

And while we are still gripped and entertained,we shall ask; Why are the Big Boys in Kampala so attracted to Amani!?

Keep it here for more of this juicy developments.
