Journalist Walter Baraza’s Work History For The I.C.C Exposed
According to undisclosed sources, it has emerged that Walter Baraza the 41 year old journalist whose arrest is being sought by the international criminal Courts at the Hague for witness tampering and intimidation worked with the institution from 2012 in Eldoret as an intermediary for investigators. His role was collecting evidence about the Post Election Violence -I wonder which genius thought it made more sense to use a journalist and not a professional investigator to look for such sensitive information.
The decision to use his services were arrived at because the I.C.C investigators needed individuals who understood the Rift Valley and understood how the Post Election Violence occurred. They then decided to approach several journalists requesting their services -as intermediaries.
While some journalists outrightly rejected the offers made, Baraza accepted.
Baraza’s job was to “convince individuals with testimonies to give them and enter witness protection programs for their safety”. After coming to terms with the witnesses, Baraza would arrange for their travel documents so they would be able to travel to the Hague in Netherlands once the case had commenced. It is alleged that Baraza handled 10 or so witnesses and help them attain safe conduct from Kenya to other east African nations for their own safety.
