Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua Awards Kamba Celebs like Caroline Mutoko, Churchill et al (Photos)

Tuesday, Machakos Governor, Dr. Alfred Mutua, unveiled the county’s “Holywood” – MachaWood – which we expect will generate over 30,000 jobs and 500 Million Kenya Shillings to Machakos County in the next one year.

The Governor also appointed a board for Machawood which included some of the most celebrated Kamba personalities. Take a look;

1. Daniel Ndambuki “AKA” Churchill

An entertainment guru in the area of broadcasting, music and comedy.

2. Stevens Muendo

The current editor of the entertainment magazine “Pulse” in the Standard newspaper and a major player in the entertainment industry. If he does not know about it, it is not happening.

3. Caroline Mutoko

Renowned broadcaster and Manager, Ms. Mutoko is in a class of her own.

4. Katua Nzile

One of Kenya’s leading TV Managers and Producers, Mr. Nzile has shaped the current face of Kenyan Television having being head of TV in basically all TV stations. He is a media Magician.

5. Kennedy Wambua Ngunze better known as “Ken wa Maria”

He is one of the leading musicians and entertainment experts in Kenya. Ken has the energy of 20 bulls and has a super creative mind. He is also the Chair of local musicians in Kenya.

6. Victor Mwalakha Mwenya Muniafu

He is the current Chair of the Kenya Film and TV Professional Association and one of Kenya’s leading producers and entertainment gurus. He has the ability to get anything done – an amazing hallmark.
