Kenya’s First Adults-Only Film on An Upward Trajectory

Last Sunday the 15th of December two stars of “House of Lungula” were recognized on a Pan African level and were awarded in Abuja! We are referring to the stunning Lizz Njagah and the dashing Gitau Ngogoyo who both received the PAMSA Screen Actors Award for Best Kenyan Actress and Best Kenyan Actor of 2013 respectively.

This is the second award that Lizz Njagah receives this year after collecting the Best Actress Award in London Greek Film Festival for her role as King’ora in Alex Konstantaras’ movie “The Return of Lazarus”.

The Papyrus Magazine Screen Actors Awards (PAMSAA) is a child of Damsas’ Mega Business Limited, the publishers of the Famous Papyrus Monthly International Magazine. PAMSAA brings together the best and the most talented on screen, the industry’s most prominent world entertainers from across the globe and recognizes their accomplishments in different categories.

Meanwhile, “House of Lungula” screenings took a Christmas break, they will continue at Century Cinemax, the Junction Mall in January as well as in Nyali Cinemax in Mombasa.
