The Kenya Film Classification Board Has Just Banned WOLF OF WALLSTREET! Anyone Found With A Copy Faces Legal Prosecution
Did you know there is a Kenya Film Classification in Kenya? Well neither did I but consider yourself informed. And within the same breathe please allow me to say that the commission which was set up to censor the movies shown in Kenya and give them relevant age restrictions has decided to ban the movie.
In a statement that was released earlier today through Facebook (I am really impressed that they chose to use the relevant media to reach the movie going public), they said:
There is a LIMIT to everything and we believe the Kenyan public deserves better. WOLF OF WALLSTREET has been RESTRICTED. The film is NOT for sale, exhibition or distribution in KENYA. Violators shall be PROSECUTED.
So if you are so much as found watching the movie, you will find yourself up a creek sailing in effluent and human waste without a paddle!
