The Reigning African Queen of Comedy Joins Citizen TV

This will definitely be the most memorable year for Ugandan Comedienne/Ninja/Mrs. Ojok/Actress/Singer/Writer/TV Host from Kabale, Uganda, Anne Kansiime. She is set to be the first Ugandan comedian to meet the Queen of England according to her manager, Johnson Mujungu.

However, before the March 10 date with Her Majesty, Anne is making foray into Kenya. Her first stop? Kenya’s number one TV station, Citizen TV.

Anne’s new show, Don’t Mess with Kansiime, is set to premiere on Citizen TV very soon and the TV station is already running promos for the show and so in Anne on her Facebook fanpage.

Last year, Anne broke the ceiling and proved she’s huge force to reckon with on the international scene after she scooped the prestigious entertainment medal at the African Social Awards Malaysia (ASAM) 2013 in Malaysia. Earlier she had been crowned Best Comedian at the 2013 BETTFA Awards.

Anne has been co-hosting the Mini Buzz show on Uganda’s NTV.
