#TwendeKazi Has Finally Left Kenya

For those of you not in the know, Tusker launched a show last week on Sunday. Twende Kazi is the name of the show which is a relay that features 50 players in 25 teams. Their job is to get the Tusker to humphrey Kayange who is currently in London. The plot? They can get to London however they can, boat rides, beg and plead. The catch? They can’t use a plane and they have no money.

For those without an idea as to how hard that is, try to get a free ride in a matatu to work tomorrow and back to your house. Aye, it’s unbelievably hard.
But not when you’re determined. I will admit that once, I had my wallet stolen and I still managed to get home. And that is the spirit behind the show. Showing the world that East Africans and indeed Kenyans can make anything happen. We can achieve because we just are!

Now, the teams thus far have been successful on their runs but they have been in Kenya. Now, the Tusker is out of the country and if my sources are correct, they are in Tanzania. And that was thanks to the team below:

Now, the game is getting real! Now it’s about more than just determination, it’s about wit and resourcefulness. If you haven’t been watching the show? I suggest you begin now because I guarantee that things are about to get alot more serious!

And Team are having a go!

Team 8 are here and will now make their way from Pangani to Bagamoyo. And what’s more, they need your help. They need the help of every Tanzanian, nay, East African within the greater Bagamoyo area.

Can you help them travel to Bagamoyo?
