Well, Janet’s journey to the Oscars has just got off the ground to a rousing start. The screen siren plays Pendo in TV series, Rush, that’s set to hit the screen soon.

Set in Nairobi, Rush is an inspirational, engaging drama following the personal stories and interlinked life experiences of four confident and cosmopolitan young women from Kenya, who together make up a close circle of friends.

The main character is Pendo – the owner of Rush magazine. With her magazine she wants to inspire and empower other African women (and men) to lead successful and fabulous lives.
