Acclaimed Kenyan-born Anchor Leaves CNN After 14 Years
After 14 years at the helm of the biggest 24 hour international news channel, CNN, Kenyan-born anchor, Zain Verjee, has left the TV channel.
In a note to her immediate former workmates, Zain said;
“It’s been 14 years of growth, friendship and excitement and greatest priviledge anyone could ask for. I will be spending some time creating and writing which I find personally fullfilling…”
Zain has started a PR advisory company that will focus on Africa. According to the information Zain Verjee Group, the company provides elite advisory services for governments and corporations on global branding, media strategy and public crisis management.
The elite anchor gladly unveiled the company last Friday asking people to follow all her adventures and projects on their Twitter handle;
