This incident shocked the country and the world, with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko, as he has done before, quickly moving in to settle the fine and set the granny free.

The jailing of the granny has greatly angered many, among them Moha who has blasted the courts for failing to jail MPs and civil servants who have embezzled colossal sums of money and are walking freely.

Moha has said that jailing the granny and leaving the corrupt civil servants is an indication of a rotten society.
