Here Is How The Burial Of Son To Citizen TV’s Mike Okinyi Went Down At The Lang’ata Cemetery

Citizen TV sports anchor Mike Okinyi, his wife, friends and relatives paid their last respects to their son Twani Kitwana at the CITAM church, Valley Road before proceeding to lay him to rest at the Lang’ata cementery.

A somber mood engulfed the sendoff ceremony as those gathered to bid Twani farewell could not hold back their teachers.

Those present at the farewell ceremony lavished praise on the three year old son to Mike Okinyi, describing how he was an energetic and kind boy.

His mother and father echoed the same sentiments as they remembered the last moments they shared with their son before passing on.

The Royal Media Services fraternity also joined their colleague to condole with him and among those who relayed their condolences on behalf of the RMS owner SK Macharia was MD Wachira Waruru.

His classmates also paid tribute to the fallen boy.

Then the mourners headed to the Lang’ata cemetery where the young boy was laid to rest.

Twani passed on three days ago through what his family says is sickle cell anemia.

Here is how it went down:
