Julie Gichuru, one of Kenya’s most celebrated and well-traveled TV personalities, has a past, and her past is not a bitter one. It is actually a glittering and an inspirational one.

Julie has shared her days, 20 years ago, when she was an undergraduate student at Cardiff University in Wales, the United Kingdom.

Julie was not here for academic reasons alone. She actually engaged in several activities, all aimed at selling the name of our country to the world.

This was way back in 1995 when Julie modeled for Kenya. The TV siren has shared a photo of herself strutting on the catwalk as she donned a nice African kitenge and of course raised its hemline a bit higher to show her thigh.

Julie probably never disappointed I guess. Then I was only 4 years old. It is a long time remember but Julie as soldiered on and it seems her destiny is just an amazing one.
