Finally Bodies Of Garissa Attack Victims Leave Chiromo Mortuary For Burial (Photos)

After a week of sorrow, mourning, grieving, anger and agony, finally the bodies of the Garissa attack victims have started leaving Chiromo mortuary to various destinations in the country for burial.

This is one of the most heartbreaking scenarios Kenya has ever seen over a very long period of time.

The week has been busy with government pathologists carrying out autopsies on the remains of the 147 massacred students and staff in Garissa University College to identify them after it was reported that the bodies were in a bad state.

And after a week of waiting, finally relatives of the victims who have been camping at the Chiromo Funeral Parlour have started moving out with the remains of their loved ones to give them a decent send off.

Emotions are engulfing the parlour once again as families, friends and relatives come to reality with the bitter truth that their loved ones were killed by terrorists as they quenched their thirst for education in Northern Kenya.
