IMPORTANT: Tips On How To Keep Safe In Case Of A Security Threat Like An Attack By Terrorists

 

Kenyans have found themselves in dangerous situations like those of terrorist attacks and insurgence, with many remaining helpless because of the manner in which the killers attack and the sophisticated weapons they normally carry.

The latest incident is that of the Garissa massacre where 147 Kenyans lost their lives after Al Shabaab insurgents attacked them as they enjoyed their sleep two weeks ago.

It is one of the darkest days in the history of Kenya, and many have been questioning why the government has failed to guaranteed security to its citizens.

When the militants killed innocent Kenyans in Mandera late last year, President Uhuru Kenyatta made an infamous utterance which angered many Kenyans. He said that security starts with you and me. However, later on it turned out that his words were taken out of context.

But even as we ponder the loss of our fellow countrymen, it is prudent that we learn some of the necessary security tips that to some extent could get us out of trouble if we found ourselves in compromising situations.

Simple but important steps could save a life or two rather than losing all of the lives in a place when terrorists attack.
